About the Event
Mindful Self Compassion™ is an 8-week training series designed to cultivate emotional strength, reduce stress and navigate through difficult times with greater ease, kindness and understanding.
It is an empirically-based program based on the groundbreaking research of Kristin Neff and the clinical expertise of Chris Germer, a leader in integrating mindfulness and psychotherapy.
Your MSC teachers, Kristen Genzano and Kim Levan, will guide you through various meditations and experiential exercises, offer short talks and facilitate group discussions. You will learn about the science of self-compassion and how to cultivate self-compassion in daily life. There will be ongoing support in between sessions and exercises to try at home, to deepen your practice.
